Thinking that low drop in my temp CD7 was fluke my temp has been rising but I think the jump today may have been more from DH cuddling this am, time change & that I had a few drinks last night. I waited 30 min in bed and temped again and it was lower. Ill probably discard this am's temp.

Does anyone else not get a second line on the cheep opks until after the 4min time allowed for the reading? It was still neg this am and I have no CM so im thinking O is still coming.

I'm starting to get AF-like symptoms today. Despite it being a week early, I just am not feeling this cycle. I know it's not over until diablo sings, but have you ever just known? I'm going to start temping next cycle on top of cervix checks. I got my hopes up because my cervix has been kind of high and soft since Oing, but this morning it started to lower and it a lot more firm. Boo.

    How is everyone else doing?

Drs today - yay! Have had a killer headache yesterday and this morning that I'd hoped meant AF was on her way but nada. It totally sucks to not be able to take decent painkillers just in case we are pg. I did end up using some antiflamme cream (no NSAIDs, but still not recommended) to try and loosen up my shoulder/neck area otherwise there's no way in heck I'd get through work today and I have an observation.

@mrsdoily: It still could be implantation pains! Fingers crossed for you.

I am overanalyzing every symptom this month. Tender breasts - check! Tired - check! Headaches last two nights - check! Veins looking darker (maybe)? Sigh...I should stop while I am ahead!

@Cara M. 17: Oh girl, that is me exactly. Which is maybe why I'm second guessing myself so badly. I have added so many new colored blocks to my FF chart this month, it's redonk!

@mrsdoily: We can overanalyze together! Hopefully this week goes quickly. My FF app looks the same! Dots everywhere.

Success - about half a page of blood tests to be done on Wednesday (some are fasting, and I can't do them tomorrow morning) and I'm surprisingly chipper about it.

I'm getting HCG serum, complete blood count, B12/Folate, CRP (C-reactive protein), Liver Enzymes - Liver Function, Renal (Creatinine, Uric Acid, Electrolytes), Glucose (hbA1c), Lipids - Fasting, Hormones (FSH, LH, Prolactin, Progesterone, Oestradiol) & Thyroid - TSH. Some of them I've had before, some of them are new!

I also got him to check my blood pressure as I was concerned that the dizzy spells lately meant that my blood pressure was too low... turns out that I have the opposite problem right now. It's way higher than my usual 120/80 at 150/90... that's not cool

The good news out of the whole thing is that if we come back with no real problems from the blood test (and if DH's doctor will send him for a SA before then) is that he'll move to referrals in another couple of months for further investigations.

Hi ladies...feeling really bummed out this morning and need a pick me up! Here's the facts...

    CD27/12DPO
AF is due by tomorrow or even as late as Thursday...I have had some 30 days cycles int he past but mostly 28 days.

I usually start spotting about 2 days before AF arrives which would mean I should be spotting by now. I did had some brown tinged CM last night but nothing since then.

    Fri:98.8
    Sat:98.4
    Sun: 98.5
    Mon:98.4

At first I thought Saturday may have been a implantation dip but my temp hasn't really gone up since then. My pre-O temps are 97.8.

FINALLY...took a FRER this morning (12DPO) and it was negative! Last pregnancy (the resulted in my MC) I tested positive the night of 12DPO.

    Is there ANY hope left?

  13. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@SweetMamaM: Glad you got some tests done! Can't wait for the results.

@whatsarahsaid: I say there's still hope. 12dpo can still be early depending on when implantation occurred. Fingers crossed!

  14. whatsarahsaid

    cherry / 235 posts

@Ash: Thank you SO much! I'm really hoping that may be the case. If the temp drop on Saturday was in fact an implantation dip than I guess it may still be early. I guess I'll know for sure within the next few days! Until then fingers crossed!

@whatsarahsaid: it's not over until AF arrives! if AF may not even be do until thurs, it could be too early to test, and you are right, if you implanted this weekend, i think some people take 4-5 days before a + after implantation! don't lose hope

I have missed so much. Congratulations to all the bps. I POAS this weekend, but got bfn. Im 15 dpo and 1 day late, so I will just go along with what FF says and POAS on March 15, this Friday.

FX for the rest of you, lovely ladies.

Lady bees! I have a question or two...

So ya'll know I got a positive opk last Tuesday (cd20, today is cd 26). Well, today I am having weird pains in my right side... I did another opk thinking maybe O was delayed... 100% negative. Our timing was AWESOME if O happened around the positive... but we haven't done the baby dance since Thursday if I am Oing late... it's just not matching up for me.

Sorry this is a mumble jumble mess... I'm nervous now. :((

Any ideas? I don't chart temps, only chart bding and opks and one app says AF is due Saturday and my other says next Monday. My POAS day is Tuesday.

  22. Pirouette

    pomegranate / 3331 posts

@Ash: I actually had the same exact thought process a few weeks ago...i thought i O'd and then got pains in my right ovary, freaked out and said 'oh no i'm Oing NOW and we haven't bd in a few days!' while my situation isn't helpful b/c it turns out i didn't O either of those times (i guess my body is just broken!), i'll share what Dr. Google told me...apparently, some people experience O-like pains during their luteal phase because a corpus luteum cyst develops to prepare for the release of HCG? SO i think it could be a good sign?? I'm no doctor though, and i can't attest to the degrees of the folks who come up on my google searches either way I got my FX for you!

  23. Ash

@Pirouette: Your response made me smile and lol! This is what happens to me on my days off... I analyze everything!! Thanks lady! :))

    @Ash: Maybe it's a fart.

But fo' real, you had an awesomely positive OPK, you did what you could, it's outta your hands at this point! Fingers crossed for you!!!

I'd say from here on out (if for whatever lame reason it doesn't work, which would be stupid) though, if you aren't gonna temp, stick to BDing every other day so even if you get a positive OPK and it ends up getting delayed for whatever reason, you're covered! I still totally think you caught it though and you're just feeling a fart... Can't wait until you test!!!

  25. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@ms.janedoe: I agree with the every other day... but we had family here friday-sunday and by the time they left yesterday plus the time change, I was too exhausted to bd last night. But LOL... I also hope it's just a fart. You're such a POAS cheerleader. You're the best! Thank you!

  28. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@Pirouette: every tww I've been in, I say I won't google or over analyze my symptoms... but I always give in the second week. Ugh! I'm sorry your cycle is out of whack post bcp. Boooooo!

  29. Pirouette

    pomegranate / 3331 posts

@Ash: I know right? i won't symptom spot, i swear...but wait, this symptom really IS different, is it? i should just make sure...lol!

Yea, it's tough - i know it's supposed to take a while but i was feeling so positive after my first month was so normal! it's just hard not even knowing if i'm IN the TWW. i have been positive AF was here about 5 times this month, and i can't believe i actually want her to get here... plus it's really hard to keep up with all the 'just in case' BDing!

I posted on charters of the hive this am that ive had another temp drop and possible EWCM this am but a negitive opk. DH is more eager then ever after his seizure to DTD so that we don't miss O. I feel so bad because he hurts & its no fun for either of us. He is just determined to do this the old fashion way & I want to give him that but damn this is mentally exausting.

    for the ladies that OPK...

how soon after you got a positive OPK did it fade out to a full, stark white negative?

i think I O'ed a week ago last Sunday but since then my OPK's have not gone back done to "stark white" negative...

EA: pic, was from Friday...i still did OPK's this weekend...and they are pretty pink just not positive pink...what gives???

  32. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@MrsCastro: I only do opks until I get a positive so I don't know the answer 100%, but I don't know if they ever go stark white. Even when I start mine at cd8, it's slightly pink. And I did one today too... cd26 and it wasn't stark white either. Maybe you're KU and it's picking up hcg!! :))

  33. MrsCastro

    persimmon / 1491 posts

@Ash: i really do hope so...i have never done it either...but for some strange reason i decided to do it this cycle because i wasnt convinced with my "positive OPK"....based on what i suspect as O and O pains...today should be 8DPO for me...so still too early to test...

  34. Apex

    clementine / 770 posts

@MrsCastro: I read somewhere that we always have the LH hormone present in our bodies. It just increases around Ovulation. My OPK sticks were NEVER stark white. it just gets darker with O

  35. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@MrsCastro: oh my gosh! I would be jumping up and down if that's the case!!

  36. Mrs.Someone

    pomelo / 5228 posts

@MrsCastro: Sorry, but I'm not sure any of those are positive... The 8th from the top is close, but I still don't think its as dark as the control line. Also the most recent one is pretty close. For what its worth, I get a second line every time I take an OPK, but after O its definitely negative.

  37. MrsCastro

@Beetones: just looked at a chart on Dr.Google...and it makes sense...

  38. Sugar.Biscuit

    nectarine / 2063 posts

@MrsCastro: our opks look identical. I always have a line and never a true positive. Today was the most white opk I've ever had, even with the temp dip.

  39. Ash

    honeydew / 7909 posts

@Pirouette: oh man, I'd probably give up. LOL! I cannot bd that much... the 5 days my chiro told us to bd was enough for me. *sigh* I'm so lazy!!

  40. MrsCastro

    persimmon / 1491 posts

@Mrs.Someone: that is the darkest one that i got...i think, i hadnt held it that long so my urine was "aged"....but i cant be for sure...
