14 DPO and BFN, so I am just waiting for AF and being grateful for the really, really "normal" cycle I had this month (for the first time since DD was born). I am rolling over to April.

@septca: sorry about the BFN but normal cycles are kick for once! Next cycle is the money cycle!

I'm a rollover to April that returned to this board to say....I'm not a rollover anymore because I'm actually pregnant!!!!
I thought AF started last Sunday, and I had some bleeding that lasted about 3 days. So I never tested again. I started using OPKs again today for the new cycle and it was a BLAZING positive OPK. I was super confused by that...until about 20 minutes later I realized it could be picking up HCG. So I tested, and instant BFP!!! Y'all this is nuts!!

I had a few crazy days at work and haven't been on HB for 4 or 5 days -- I just caught up!
@MFA_Lady: yes! So glad your endless cycle is over. Gives me hope for mine.
@theotherstark: congrats!
@Septca: how's today's pee stick looking?
I've got the same old same old - neg LH, neg HCG, no period. Most likely situation is that I'm still meandering along in a post-Mirena anovulatory cycle.
I have two other theories of what could be going on. Starting on 3/16, I started having a lot of symptoms that I associate with being on my period, but, I wasn't actually bleeding. 3/16 is 14 DPO from when I had the positive OPK. Maybe I did really ovulate, and that was a "period", but after 8 years of amenorrhea I just didn't have any lining at all to slough?
The other theory is that the truly positive OPK was a failed ovulation attempt, but, that I did have a successful ovulation 12 days ago when I had an almost dark enough to be positive OPK. If that theory is true, I should have a period soon.

@KBEE: !! congrats!!!!!! that's a super thing to be wrong about!
@Septca: ah. Sorry. Hopefully she doesn't come.

@Septca: Oh shoot, I am so sorry. I didn't see your post and now I feel so insensitive Horrible timing on my part! Thinking of you...

@kbee: SAY WHAT?! AHHH that is so exciting!! congratulations and it will be my pleasure to take you off that April board! I can't believe it! So your AF was BFP spotting huh! You must be so surprise and happy!

@lilyofthewest: I hope AF comes for you soon! It must be so confusing to navigate through this... Hugs for you!!

@septca: next month will be it for you! Having a normal cycle is such good news even tho AF came fx for you in April!!

@septca: Sorry about the BFN. Glad your body is regulating.
@theotherstark: Any chance you took another test today? I remember with DD I had wanted to wait 2 days, but caved the next afternoon. It is fun to see the progression/word pregnant.

Thanks everyone Now I'm really really worried because I did every single a thing a pregnant woman shouldn't do last week. I had sushi, coffee, more alcohol than usual (especially Saturday, ahhh), and ran a 5k yesterday (NOT taking it easy). UGH. I hope our little bean is okay.

@Kbee: Oh give me a break! You need to be CELEBRATING!!!! Congratulations.
I am so glad this board is picking up some BFPs this week!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Kbee: You don't share a bloodstream with the bean until at least 6 weeks, so you are fine. Funny story: the day after Thanksgiving, DH and I always have a party where I make something with leftovers (usually white chili) and everyone brings their visiting in-laws over. It's a fun way to get out of the house and do something different... Anyway. A couple of years ago my friend "Anne" came over and got completely, totally wasted. Two weeks later she called to tell me, oops. total Nuva Ring fail - she's KU (she was about 5-6 weeks along at our party). Totally healthy pregnancy and adorable baby girl.

@Kbee: Omg that's CRAZY!!! And awesome!! YAY! Congratulations!!

@Radish: Yes - I tested again this morning! The line is still faint, but definitely darker than yesterday. Even my husband could see it right away The picture isn't very good - I'm so shoddy at taking pictures of these things. But it's a little darker in person than the picture.
I held off on taking a digi, though - didn't want to get super bummed out if it didn't say Pregnant yet! Will probably take one tomorrow

@snowjewelz: Thanks I'm still so confused about everything. I had 4 days of spotting, plus 3 days of bleeding, and the first day of "AF" I had super major AF-like cramps. It totally had me fooled, which is why I didn't test again. Have an appointment in 45 minutes just to talk about it all and make sure that doesn't mean something is wrong. Also, you're testing soon, right!? FX for you!!
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Kbee: That sounds like implantation symptoms, but I agree with you that I would be nervous in your situation. I am glad you are seeing your doctor - given your experience, I think you should ask for an early u/s to see what's what. FX that everything is moving along the way it should be, which is most likely is (because it could very easily have been implantation or a vanishing twin).

@Septca: Thanks, that makes me feel a little better. According to when I ovulated (not LMP since I O'd day 21), I'm 5 weeks 1 day. So still hopefully too early for all of those things to matter.
kiwi / 560 posts
@Septca: Oh hmm, the early u/s sounds like a good idea, didn't think of that. Thanks
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@Kbee: Yep - ask! 5w1d is too early for a heartbeat, so they might make you come back next week, but it's great that you are going in.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Kbee: I will be thinking of you! I hope talking to the doc will help to reassure you It's actually kinda cool that you lived it up before you realize you were KU lol!
I only brought two tests with me on vacation so I'm probably gonna test Wed/Fri or Thurs/Fri!

umm. I finally got my lazy weekend self out if bed. (Yes, Monday is my weekend). And I looked at the pee stick I took about 3 hours ago. It sure looked negative then, but I also only checked it at however little time elapsed for me to finish using the toilet.
Now there's a tiny, faint line. I can't tell if it is real or an evap. The actual line has color, but there's a sort if blank stark white anti-line right next to it. I think probably evap. Sweetie says he can't see anything at all except the control line.
And, in worst timing ever, I'm out of these super sensitive 10mIU tests. So, I can retest with 25mIU tests all I want. But , even if this is a real positive, they won't pick it up for a couple days.

@lilyofthewest: I'm not sure I'd trust a test 3 hours after I took it. I can't tell where the line is supposed to be, the test looks a little weird.
GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts
@lilyofthewest: That's an evap. It looks exactly like the weird Wondfo evaps I have been getting the last few cycles. I am sorry.

Good morning, friends! I'm over here on CD3 with a really light AF....I just hope it's the real deal and this cycle is normal!! Hoping to see lots more good news this week.
coconut / 8475 posts
@lilyofthewest: I'd honestly not trust that one at all. The line is not thick, the line is misplaced and for being 3 HOURS later, the urine hasn't even dried so the stick looks defected I'm sorry.
I'd probably run out and get a FRER and hold my urine for the next 4 hours.
@theotherstark: CONGRATULATIONS!!!
@Kbee: those are awesome lines; congrats!!!
i'm visiting from the 6m+ boards today because I needed to see some BFPs. We wern't particularly lucky this month over there. Some were :), but many wern't. Bad month, I suppose. I am really glad to see here though :)) And hey, the month isn't over yet!
