Since I'm on this list too...I already mentioned it on the other POAS thread but I got a faint BFP this morning. I want to confirm again tomorrow, but feeling very optimistic!!!

To clarify the control window is blank too, not just the test so basically after I peed on this thing twice it looks like I didn't do anything to it. Now I'm kicking myself for not bringing my FRERs! I was not a happy camper this morning, on DH's bday too! I had some cramps this AM so now I'm thinking what if this box of tests are just bad and I'm out... Blah! I am determine to enjoy the last day of vacation and make DH's bday a good one! I guess all the worries will have to wait till I get home.

@snowjewelz: I had a box of defective tests like that (no test or control line) from CVS last weekend, so it's possible it was just a bad test today. Mine were both bad, though. I think that since you got a line, things are looking very good!
I also had cramping all this past week, so you're definitely not out. I have a good feeling - get that FRER as fast as you can!

@snowjewelz: the test from Wednesday did look pretty promising and I didn't really follow the instructions on any of my test and still got my positive and I'm holding my 6 week old DS right now! I can't wait for you updated tomorrow fx

@littlek: The instructions were so serious!! I think for most of us, we prob won't believe it unless there are like 3+ tests across multiple days! Or better yet a blood test and having the doc confirming it! Fx for a sticky baby for you! Did you tell DH?

So... funny thing. I just learned something about ovulation that I didn't know... I cant believe that between TTC the first time and this time I didn't know this already. I always thought that O occurred pretty much during your LH surge... I mean I knew that typically they say you ovulate the day after you get your positive OPK... but even that can be kind of misleading. Or at least it was to me... I have almost always BD the day I get my positive or my Peak fertility because I thought that if I waited till the next day I would probably be too late, which from what I just found out couldn't be more false. So ladies back me up or tell me if I'm totally wrong because I may not be the only one with this misconception (sorry I'm rambling).
1. Lets say you are lucky enough to catch your surge at the begining and not the end... so i guess testing multiple times a day... You get a + opk and you have your LH Surge.... yay!!
2. Then 24 to 48 hours AFTER THAT is when your egg bursts from the overy and you ovulate. (this is what I didn't know.)
3. That egg can then be fertilized for potentially 12-24 hours AFTER that. So really you could get preg 1 to 2 1/2 days (approx) after you get your positive OPK... so I shouldn't stop BDing on day of positive OPK!!! Mind Blown. I'm really feeling good about this month now that I know this.
