so, i know this may be difficult to answer, but i hope someone can give me some sort of idea, as i'm clueless when it comes to insurance...

right now my husband and i are on our own anthem health insurance plan that is not associated with his current job. the plan REALLY sucks, and basically nothing is covered. praise the Lord, he was just offered a new job with full insurance (the employer said the insurance is phenomenal, but that's all we know about it). we'll finally be able to go to the doctor without feeling guilty or stressing out! whoo! he starts his new job may 21.

well, after this period ends, we'd like to start ttc. i know that the likelihood of getting pregnant right away isn't good, but if i did... would my pregnancy be covered under his new insurance? does pregnancy count as a pre-existing condition? we want to go ahead and start trying asap, but i don't want to miss out on the maternity benefits!

anyone have any idea how this works?
