I'll probably squeak out a POAS around 5/30. I am torn between frequent BD and not paying attention, vs. progesterone which requires temping and POAS. I am trying to look at it this way: last cycle was the first progesterone cycle- it's like pushing reset. That could still be the magic fix,but that doesn't mean it will happen right away. I am trying to give it 3 cycles before I get more frustrated. We are doing something else to make things work.
Has progesterone messed with anyone else? I didn't have any significant side effects while on it, but I am much weepier than normal with my period and bleeding more heavily. I always O CD15, and am wondering if I am still likely to after coming off progesterone.

Moved myself to May 8 (I'll probably test before then, but that's my 14DPO/stop progesterone day)

@AmeliaBedilia: this is my first cycle taking progesterone so I'm not sure how AF will be, but it is making me weepy now (9dpo). The last few days I've been tearing up over the littlest thing (and that is completely not like me).
@bhbee: woohoo for guilt free margaritas!
nectarine / 2192 posts
@bhbee: BFNs are always hard. That's the spirit!
@charmed: hope this is your month! If not, I will warn you that it can take a few days for your temp to go down and AF to come. It so messes with your mind. (Not to be too negative, so hoping for a BFP!)

@bhbee: great attitude! I hope you enjoyed those margaritas!
@AmeliaBedilia: overall, are you liking the progesterone? Is it for something other than lengthening LP? I am feeling really good about your next cycle!
@charmed: good luck, hopefully this is your cycle!
@MrsMcD: how are you holding up, cycle buddy?
persimmon / 1177 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: thanks for the heads up on the delay in temps/AF! Sadly, I don't know if I'll have to deal with that, my temps are already dropping. I'm trying to keep my hopes up, but I think it's unlikely AF will even hold off till 14DPO.
At least a 10+ day LP is an improvement over the 8 day ones I've been having.
@Crystal: thanks!

Ok time to freak out ... Yesterday I took a frer and bfn. Decided I shouldn't waste my last frer so took a wondfo today. Just looked and there's a faint second line. But I didn't check it in the timeframe and wondfos are crap - I've had evaps before. Figure I better save the frer for tomorrow's fmu ... Going to be a long wait. And if it is real I'll be so afraid of chemical #5 happening.

@bhbee: Are we the same person today?! I caved and tested. I got two lines but I don't believe it. I guess we'll both be ready to POAS in the a.m.

@Kelli_Deluxe: @bhbee: just stop it with the teasing! Oh my gosh.... If our group gets two BFPs tomorrow, I'll just die.

@Crystal: hi friend. I'm 11dpo and fighting the urge to test early. I think I have one frer in my cabinet, but I'm resisting checking. Trying to wait for AF. How about you? How are you doing?

@Kelli_Deluxe: OMG! Congrats sweetie! How wonderful to see two most likely BFps on here on this fine Sunday morning.

@Kelli_Deluxe: ahhhhhh!!! Yours sounds like the real deal!! I am pretty nervous wondfos are just messing with me so not getting hopes up at all.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
Because I am insane I just took another wondfo. It is super faint, no surprise, but something showed up in the timeframe. So that makes me think this morning's was legit, but for me it's not a bfp until my tests get darker than the control. Too many times my betas have stalled around 30 and never gotten dark ...

@MrsMcD: I'm 10DPO and trying not to symptom spot. It's hard, even though I don't feel great about this cycle, lol. AF is due Wednesday, so I'm just trying to wait it out.

@MrsMcD: @eabae: @MrsMccarthy: @bhbee: @Crystal: Thanks ladies. I'm in denial so I'm going to test tomorrow with an frer (I used a cheapie this morning). I woke my husband up to make sure I wasn't crazy. I'll keep you ladies posted!
@bhbee: Ahhhh that's encouraging!! Fx crossed for you my dear.
@MrsMcD: @Crystal: Good luck ladies!!

@Kelli_Deluxe: @bhbee: So exciting!! Good luck to both of you.
I was in the car with DH last night checking FB on my phone and saw yet another friend announce that they're expecting this fall. I said to him "It's becoming apparent that literally every person in the entire world is expecting a baby in 2014. All of them. Every person."
He said he didn't think that was true... and then we got out of the car, and right out of the car next to us steps a woman who must have been 7-8 months pregnant.
EVERYONE.

BFN today at 8dpo. AF is due in 3 days, so I took a test. Mid-afternoon. I won't get to test again until Wednesday which is when AF is due.

@PawPrints: it certainly feels like it!
@dc yoga bee: 8DPO is super early, don't count yourself out yet!

@MrsMcD: Thanks for checking in BFN on a wondfo this morning. I will probably test again on Tuesday, then not again till next Monday. If it's negative on Monday and no AF, I'll call the doctor and likely do another round of progesterone to kick start a period, then try Clomid 50mg again. My blood work from last week confirmed ovulation, so that's good! Not feeling like this is my cycle, but I'm not out till I'm out.
@bhbee: @Kelli_Deluxe: Good luck ladies! I can't wait to see what tomorrow morning brings!

@dc yoga bee: Oh gees. You know 8dpo is too early to test.
@HeartAbandoned: How many dpo are you?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@MrsMcD: LOL! But if AF is due in 2 days, is it too early? I only have a 10 day LP and never get to 11+DPO, which is kind of bumming me out
nectarine / 2192 posts
@Crystal: progesterone is due to a borderline LP. Sometimes 10-11 days. Thanks for the good thoughts!
@charmed: Hugs! Glad at least the LP is improving.
@bhbee: Fx!
@Kelli_Deluxe: Sounds promising!
@PawPrints: Yes! Everyone seems to be pregnant except us. I so wish all of you lived nearby!
@dc yoga bee: still super early, don't count yourself out. Any word on the job front?
I have a request for any bee who gets a BFP. Sandy had listed what she had done differently her BFP cycle. I would love to hear what if anything you did differently, and also what number cycle it was. It gives the rest of us a little hope.
pomegranate / 3658 posts
@AmeliaBedilia: What we did differently on our (failed) BFP cycle: it was cycle #6 and it was our first time attempting the SMEP (or as DH calls it, "the ambush method.") So that was EOD leading up to the positive OPK, and then two days after the positive OPK.
