Does anyone use those bottles to feed LO not just to collect milk? We feed J a bottle of pumped milk once a day or less--and he seems to be fine--not too gassy, etc. But I feel like there are so many other bottles out there everyone talks about, I feel like I am cheating him out of a better bottle. Does anyone else just use the Medela bottles for feeding rather than some other "special" bottle?

We went back and forth with these. We used them at first but it seemed to be too fast for him and he was a little gassy from them. So we switched to tommee tippee. When he got older we would just use the medela ones if the exact amount of milk was in it already because it was easier. Unfortunately he won't take a bottle at all now
If your LO has no issues with the medela bottles I don't see any reason to switch.

My understanding is that Dr Brown glass bottles fit with the PISA so I plan on pumping into those.

We just use the Medela bottles, they work fine for us.. Tried a couple others but in the end LO did just as well with the medelas, so we use them for ease of pumping.

I feed LO from Avent and Medela bottles and she doesn't seem to mind either--I will probably stick with Medela if I can, since I can pump into them. My best friend went through so many bottles (and so much $$) finding a bottle her son would take. Knowing that, I say if your LO is fine with Medela, stick with it!

We are not a fan of the medela bottles for feeding; the nipples have terrible suction and just seem to collapse. We swear by Dr. Browns, and they twist right onto my PISA.

We use Dr Browns since my babe has a sensitive tummy.

We had a long battle trying to get LO to take a bottle. We tried every brand I heard of and spent about $150. She refused all of them. Since she disliked all of them equally we sent her to daycare with Medela. After a day she started taking those just fine which made me very happy. I didn't really want her to get attached to $17 bottles that didn't fit my pump.

We mostly used the Medela ones for LO when I pumped ... He was never picky!

We use the Medela bottles with a Calma nipple - works just fine for the rare occasion when he does get a bottle.

These are actually the ones LO takes the best! He's not great with other kinds but likes these.

We only ever used the Medela ones for DS to drink bottles. He took them great so why not!

Um... We gave c her first bottle of milk and I couldn't find the nipples for the medela ones, so we had to use the tommee tippee ones some gifted us. She still drank it so fast though, I'd be afraid the medela would be even faster?
Still if its working- good!

If it works for you, then use them. We personally don't use them because I don't like how the nipples collapse..

We've used them almost exclusively, those and about 3 gerber bottles that she has. LO is nearly 8 months and has done fine with them.

I prefer to use the Tommee Tippee when we try to feed her bottles. I think the Medela nipples collapse. But... I'm never the one feeding her bottles, so DH and the ILs tend to use the Medela bottles if they're already filled with milk. They're too lazy to transfer.

LO is 5.5 months and I have used Medela bottles the whole time with no problems. I even bought the bigger 8 oz ones when she started drinking more since I already had the parts to go with.

we stopped using the medela bottles because their nipples collapsed. We now use Playtex Vent Aire bottles, dd was a very gassy baby

We used them to start, but she got a little too much air, but I loved them and the convenience...go for it!
