Olive was sick for 2 weeks, and she has been on a bottle strike. Understandably because she was congested and had an ear infection. But now she is attached to me and no one else can put her down for the night except for me.
She's turning 1 on Friday so even if she never takes a bottle again, that's not the end of the world. But it also means she is becoming more dependent on nursing when I want her to become less dependent as the months go on!
If your baby never took a bottle, how in the world did you ever leave them? And how did you wean them? Did they take a sippy cup?
Olive does take a straw cup. At this point she's not getting much milk in the daytime since she is refusing the bottle. I think she's making up for it by waking up more at night!
