Honestly, I'm NOT embarassed by this, but my coworker seems embarassed. I work in a middle school. There is nowhere truly "private" to pump that isn't a bathroom, so I pump in a little room off the library that is supposed to be a professional library but that isn't really used much. The bad part is that is has a HUGE window into the library that is covered with blinds. But, you can still see through the blinds that lights are on in the little room (ie. that someone, like ME might be in there).

My principal knows I pump and most of the female teachers know (just because they are all nosy and they've all asked how I'm feeding my baby), but I definitely didn't send out a PSA to the whole faculty about where I'm pumping and when.

Anyway, I'm sitting there with just the hands-free on, when I hear a KEY go into the locked door. So I jump up and am like, "Occupied! This room is occupied!" and I hear the tech guy's voice go, "What are you doing in there? Are you sleeping?"

I just shouted "No!" and left it at that.

I tried to go explain to him afterward what I'm doing in there during 1st and 6th (my lunch time) periods, but he literally put his hands over his ears and said he "didn't want to know".

He seems so embarassed. LOL. he's like...a 24 year old kid, btw. I kind of feel like I should force him to listen as an educating moment so he knows what to expect should he ever have a partner/wife/child/etc.

But should I let it go? We're friends, btw. Like...coworker friends, not outside-of-work friends.
