When the WB Mason sales guys walked into my office (when I thought the door was locked) to try to sell me different office supplies!! A co-worker apparently unlocked my door when she was leaving my office earlier.. I never checked! Silly me! I managed to detach myself from the pump itself (and my shirt was down)- but still had the flanges on. ( was super rude and crossed my arms and didn't get up to greet them or anything!)Yikes! I am positive my face was purple with embarrassment!

@cheert16: oh no! That's terrible!!! I had an almost-accident yesterday, but I pump right by the door, with my back to it, so I just blocked the door with a cart of office supplies and shouted through the door that the room was occupied.
So you had a conversation with them with the flanges on?? Impressive!!!

@cheert16: You must have some of the smaller size flanges. I have these GIGANTIC flanges that stick out about 5 inches from my boobs (with the pump parts attached).
Terrifying. The things we do for our LOs.

I'm a teacher and on Monday our custodian walked in on me pumping. Fortunately I heard the door knob turn and was able to cover myself in time. But I had my "do not disturb" sign up AND my door was locked. Aaargh!!!

@Katrocap: that's what sucks about working in a school that is different from an office, right? It's like...no room is considered a private room. I have a sign that says "library closed" and then I pump in a room off the library.
But the sign and the lights being off doesn't stop anyone (with a key) from coming in.
Frustrating!
