AKA things I never heard of before Hellobee!
What's the deal with these?
Also, yogurt melts? And pouches? (although I have of course seen the pouches at the store).

They're great for helping LO use the pincher grip (puffs) and they dissolve easily. Same with melts.
Mum mums dissolve even more easily and are easy for LOs to hold in their hands and take bites of.
Pouches are just awesome--so easy and tons of flavors! -
@hilsy85: but what ARE mum mums and puffs? Like what on earth are they made out of?

@cmomma17: ahhh...mum mums are made from rice, a bit of sugar, and something else...puffs are flour, a bit of sugar, fruit flavoring, and some vitamins..

Here's the Mum Mums site, they list all ingredients with a FAQ section. There are different flavors. I didn't hear about Mum Mums until HB as well, but I'm a new mom. DD loved the organic version.

Snack food for babies! They are fairly empty calories but are good for hand eye coordination and pincer grasp.
Pouches are purées in a pouch. I keep an emergency pouch in the diaper bag in case we end up our to eat somewhere where there is nothing for LO to eat. They tend to be very banana and apple heavy so I generally avoid them. I feel pretty strongly about green beans tasting like green beans and not like apples. -
@oliviaoblivia: earth's best makes ones that are just veggies--i.e. no apple/banana filler!

Mum Mums are awesome. My LO can't pick up the puffs too good yet but Mum Mums she can pick up and feed herself.

Mum mums were the first big food M had on her own. Puffs were better as she got older and had a few teeth. I love pouches and melts now, they're treats for her.
