Some of the day-to-day of 2014 was rough, but overall I've been very lucky this year.

2013 was a pretty rough year for us, thankfully 2014 has been kinder. Although I'm learning that real life means that you're usually right around the corner from something crappy and the only thing you can control is your reaction to it.
Good things in 2014:
1) After 15 months of unemployment, DH landed a job that he enjoys, with good people.
2) I got a new job in April. Better pay, better hours, better benefits, WAY less stress, better chances for growth, great group of coworkers, onsite daycare for C that we LOVE. It has been life changing. DH's new job happens to be with the same organization and I can't help but feel like it was all meant to be.
3) Watching C grow and become our little buddy. She is so much fun, so good and funny. Daycare has been so good for her, she is really thriving and learning so much. She will always be the best part of the year!

2014 was pretty good to us.
1) watching C grow- she was 5 months this time last year, just starting to sit, now she is her own amazing little person.
2) making a really wonderful, supportive group of mom friends. We met in a class when the babies were 6 weeks old and now I can't imagine not having them in our lives.
3) we bought our condo (though slightly anticlimactic aince we were living here and renting first).

1) My sweet second daughter was born.
2) LO1 is learning at lightning-fast speeds and it's cool to watch.
3) DH stopped working for himself in an industry he hated, and got a new job in one he absolutely loves. It's entirely remote so now we can move, and we don't have to worry about all the caveats of being self-employed such as higher tax rates and buying our own medical insurance. Happier all around!

2014 was a wonderful year. There were challenges, but outweighed by the good things. Definitely my best year yet!
1. Gave birth to our beautiful daughter & have gotten the priviledge to see her blossom into an almost-toddler.
2. Lost my retail job when the store closed--which seemed like a bad thing at the time but threw me into job search mode and I ended up getting two great part-time jobs that I love and are much more schedule-flexible!
3. Got a 4.0 in my 3rd grad school semester.
