we broke this cardinal rule this morning. I was so sad! But we had to or we would be late for work!
Thank god she woke up happy. But then she's always happy when she sees daddy.

I used to wake her up from naps all the time or else she would sleep too much and not go down at bedtime. We also need to get her up early for daycare, but she usually wakes up at the right time.

My LO is NOT happy if I wake her up. Not only can I not wake her up in the morning, but I have to wait until she is fully awake and standing in her crib. She will be awake and moving around in there for awhile before it's ok for me to go in, otherwise she's a cranky pants!

we had to yesterday. he was asleep until almost 7:45 and my husband needed to get him ready for his day with my MIL. he was a grumpy mess yesterday, don't know if it was because he was woken up, or if he's a little under the weather/teething.

I hate waking her up. I only do it if we have to be somewhere at a certain time, and then I wait until the last possible minute.

Same as @C.sassy! Absolutely hate doing it. Usually I gently undo his swaddle and he'll wake up on his own within 15 minutes....

I have to do it all the time so I feed both of my boys at the same time! I feel bad about it but if I don't wake the sleeping twin, I'll never sleep again! lol

we wake olive up every day otherwise she'll nap too much and won't sleep at night. it also keeps her on schedule. she is a happy baby though and always wakes up happy!
