When I am at work, everyone knows what I am doing when I say "I'm going to the barn..." do you have a nickname for the pumping room?

My step sister always called it the Dairy Barn.

I love it! I work in a very small office (about 7 full-timers), so my "Barn" will be...my office. My DH and I have been joking that I should put a baby sock on the doorknob when I'm pumping though!

We refer to it as the "lactation closet". It's also where the office Christmas tree lives for 11 months of the year. Don't be jealous of my sweet decorations!

They call it the 'mother's room' at my office-- though, it's really only for pumping mothers, which is obviously the small minority of moms in the office (ie, the women with kids in school don't go in there to take a rest!)

I work at a school and there is no designated space for pumping moms. My friend pumped in her classroom with the door locked and behind a project board (because there is a window). One time my principal was looking all over for her and asked me where she was. I had no idea what to say and he started getting agitated by my awkwardness. Finally another coworker blurted that she was in her classroom pumping and he turned purple and ran away. It all could have been avoided if we had "the barn!"

We call it "mama's room". I love our pumping room. It's super cozy in there. Sometimes I go in there and take a nap during nap if nobody is using the room.
