Anyone have a good system for pumping while you're away from your LO? This weekend snuck up on me and it just dawned on me yesterday that I am LEAVING MY BABIES FOR THE NIGHT! (Why, why would I do that when they are so cute and perfect?)

Anyway, they are 11 weeks old and we breastfeed and supplement with formula after. So they are used to taking bottles. I've been saving a little of what I pump each night and freezing it so they have an ounce of BM for each feeding while I'm away. The rest will be formula.

What I'm more worried about is how my pumping is going to go while I'm away. We're going to a wedding so my pumping options may be limited to what's available. I usually pump into bottles, but I'm tempted to try pumping into bags. Probably should have practiced that though! Or I could pump into bottles and dump it into bags? Then stow the bags in my cooler bag. I only pump 1 oz on left and .5 oz on right (don't laugh aty meager supply) so it's not like we're talking huge quantities over the course of 24 hours.

Also, if I'm used to feeding the babies every 1.5-2 hours, do I REALLY have to pump that often? That seems crazy to try and do while we are away (although we are getting a car adapter so I can pump in the 2.5 he ride up) and especially at night when I could be sleeping! I don't have great supply so I've never really gotten engorged or leaked since the first week my milk supply came in, but I don't really want to mess around with that if I don't pump enough. And I obviously don't want to damage my supply further! Anyone have tips on pumping logistics for me?

And because no post is complete without a pic of my darling babes, this is what I'm leaving behind today.. What am I thinking?? They are too damn cute to spend 24 hours away!!
