I used to use an oxo tooli which was great - just enough light to nurse without totally waking me up, and could bring it into bed. Dropped it one too many times though and they don't make it anymore!
Anyone have a good solution for nursing at night (in bed) without turning on a lamp? Is there something similar out there?

With ds1 we used a lamp dimmer but if you weren't careful you'd accidentally make it too bright and risk waking him up so I'm hoping something like this will work to provide just enough light to breastfeed in the dark.

I turned on the bathroom in the hall and had the door only open a crack. That way there was a bit of light but not too much and I could just stick my hand in on my way by to turn the light on or off.

We installed a dimmer switch in LOs room when we moved in. It was enough light to keep me awake but not a problem for LO getting back to sleep. Don't know if that is an option for you?

A good friend of mine has this and loves it!
It has a cool little vibrate feature that goes off if you fall asleep while nursing!

As strange as this sounds, thus gummy bear night light worked for us. :). http://www.uncommongoods.com/product/gummy-bear-lights
It was a gift to DH (he loves gummy bears) and it was perfect to use as a night light. It's also portable so it was also used as a flashlight during a blackout. And DD has occasionally insisted on hugging it as she falls asleep.
