My DD is 6 weeks old. Ever since her 3rd night, she has been a great sleeper at night. Her usual schedule is to eat for the last time around 10:30pm, sleep til 4:30 or 5am when she wakes up to eat, and then sleep again until around 8:30am. At first I thought it was just a lucky night, but it kept happening and the doctor was not concerned about her weight and said to let her sleep!
However, she has now started sleeping completely through the night - falling asleep before 11pm, and waking around 7:30am. Although I love the sleep, I'm worried that sleep training her will be an issue in the future. Her wakeful time is usually from 6pm-11pm, and I know most people say their LOs go to bed between 7-8pm. Does this mean we will have to re-introduce a feeding in the middle of the night? Or when we sleep train, can she just go to bed around 10 and wake up around 6, which is what our schedule will be once she is in daycare? Any thoughts?
