In October my MIL is getting married and I am her photographer...DD2 will be 5 months old and I definitely plan on still nursing then......
Various family members will be goo-ing over her but my question is,
Should I bring pumped milk and a bottle for her for the day? I don't want to miss any photo ops, DD2 usually nurses for 10-15 minutes and may even be more efficient by then, I'm just debating on what I should do for that day.
What would you do?

If you give her pumped milk, you will still have to pump to replace that feeding. At 5 months, babies are usually a lot more efficient at nursing so if I were you I'd probably just directly nurse if that's an option. I don't know how realistic it'll be for you to be near your baby throughout the wedding day while you take photos though...
DS is 5.5 months now and takes about 10-15 minutes to nurse vs. if I pump, I'd need to pump for 15-20 min and that doesn't even include setup/breakdown/cleanup.

I'd wear her when she needs to nurse & continue taking pictures.... I think if you started now that by the time comes she may be pretty comfortable & better at navigating herself so you wouldn't have to really stop a whole lot.

@Mrs. High Heels: Oh my goodness...I didn't even think about pumping during that day if I wouldn't be nursing. Thank you. I am sure I'll be able to step away to nurse her. Plus I can always wear her and nurse her in my carrier.

I have done it twice, and it takes a couple minutes to get set and comfortable but I will start nursing her more while I wear her so we can get more efficient at it

Maybe bring a bottle just incase. For example what if baby was suddenly really crying and hungry before you expected and its just as MIL is walki g down the aisle or having 1st dance. You never know.
