I'm a SAHM, so I will only be away/need bottles occasionally.
How often do you pump? How much milk do you keep stored? I was pumping once every day, but we just aren't using it regularly. Can I pump, say, every day for a week before a date night or will that mess my supply up/cause issues?

You can add in extra sessions whenever you want and shouldn't mess with your supply or your LO as long as you've nursed first. I keep 10-20oz stored and that's only for the occasions when I go out. (which are not enough!!!)

If you end up with too much milk, donate it locally to a mama in need!
I personally keep 2 days worth in the freezer, roughly, in case of emergency. Then if I pump, I use frozen and add in new fresh. We try to do 1 bottle a week just to make sure he doesnt bottle strike.
I started out by pumping a few mornings after he'd already eaten so I had a 'store' and since then have pumped randomly if I felt super full or if he was sick and not eating as well, and now usually only pump once a week.
