So AF arrived today, several days earlier than I was expecting. So I guess I'll be moving onto the November POAS thread next month. Hopefully we get better news then.

I jumped the gun and tested today, even though I think it's still too early. I didn't see anything, but I'm not discouraged, I'll test again tomorrow!

FF had a message on my chart today that it could possibly be triphasic. Usually my temps are all over the place but from what I read it really doesnt mean anything one way or another. Any thoughts? http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/lugrey
nectarine / 2932 posts
@Lugrey508: I don't know anything about triphasic, but I agree, your chart looks good! Are you still waiting until the 28th to test?
cherry / 202 posts
@Littlebit: I think my plan is the 26th...supposed to go out that night for my friends Birthday and at that point ( 13 dpo) I should at least know if im going to be the responsible driver or joining in on the party!

@ottilie: @ShayNanigans: Sorry ladies, what a bummer. I will be rooting for you in November!

@ boopers- it could still be early! Fx for you still.
Still nothing and I am officially CD 35- longest cycle yet. Tested 2 days ago with afternoon urine and got a BFN. Too frustrated or scared to test again. Weird midcycle spotting (def not implantation spotting- it happened prior to ovulation)

@Lugrey508: I think Saturday is a good POAS date! FX for you!!
@Claire.Peonies: How many DPO are you? I can't remember if I've asked you that before =/ Could you be testing too early?
blogger / persimmon / 1225 posts
@ShayNanigans: aww man, I'm sorry! FX for November then!
@Lugrey508: That looks really good so far!
@Claire.Peonies: How frustrating!
apricot / 402 posts
@LindsayInNY: I'm only 8 DPO- ovulated late. Have no idea really what is going on- this is a LOOOONG cycle.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Claire.Peonies: Well, duh, that kinda explains the BFN! You're still really early for testing!! I'm prone to 30-32 day cycles but have had a couple even months after stopping BC that were 40+ days. My current one is but I think part of that is the fault of the chemical pregnancy. I never thought I'd want AF to come but it makes TTC even more of a pain! When are you going to POAS again?!
apricot / 402 posts
@LindsayInNY: I'm sorry about your wonky cycles too I'm sorry about your chemical pregnancy as well. I'm hoping this is your month! I'm not sure when I'm going to POAS again- perhaps this weekend- but it is killing me!! I don't have any in the house anymore, for that reason. I get too down if it is a BFN. C a n n o t handle it- again.
bananas / 9229 posts
@Claire.Peonies: Well it's a good thing there aren't any in the house again! How long is your LP usually? I usually try and wait until 12DPO if I can since mine are on the shorter side?

Advice needed ladies! The past two months my period has been super light, and super short. Was hoping they were flukes, but it looks like this month is exactly the same. Like not even enough for a slim tampon all day. Is this ok, or could this be a problem? I don't know much about it, but could this be a lining issue?

evaporation line? how common are these? this is a pic 12 hrs after i took it- it was STARK white when i took it, but threw it in the trash right away..
grapefruit / 4649 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I so wish I could say positive but I am leaning towards evap. I don't know how common they are but I think common enough that it is a real possibility. When I had an issue with an evap on frer I called and she said it must turn pink to be positive.
Can you try again? Fingers crossed for you!
GOLD / squash / 13576 posts
@Claire.Peonies: hmmm. That's too long. My guess is evap. Can you POAS tomorrow?
apricot / 402 posts
@Cole: thank you for your answer. That helps to hear- I agree- reading after the allotted time is probably good for nothing but false hopes.
apricot / 402 posts
@littlek: will plan on tmrw or saturday if i can hold out! thank you!
pear / 1548 posts
@LindsayInNY: I don't know when I ovulated
@Claire.Peonies: I had random spotting CD 18. I never spot!
I'm CD 33 and usually have a shorter 10-11 day LP but I just can't get over the fact that I had such strong PMS symptoms earlier this week. I really thought I would start my period any minute. The feeling hasn't been as intense the past two days so I don't know what that means.
pear / 1548 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I see a faint line but it looks like it's an evap line. I'm excited for you though! Keep us updated!
apricot / 402 posts
@Boopers: your strong pms sxs sound promising. I have little to none, just hungry and tired
pear / 1548 posts
@Claire.Peonies: I'm so tired too! Part of it is definitely from work, but by 10 am I'm ready for a nap! Ha
apricot / 402 posts
@Boopers: mine is probably work related too- but i dont have sore breasts or nausea- had nausea all last week but none now. Never had sore breasts this month. TMI- probably

@Littlebit: It can be. Your lining has to be thick enough to support implantation. It's one of the reasons that people take Progesterone while TTC. I'm in the same boat with the light cycles... I'm thinking about asking for an ultrasound at the end of this cycle (assuming no BFP) to have them check lining thickness. Maybe you can bring this up with your doc?
@Claire.Peonies: @Boopers: @Lugrey508: Good luck!
nectarine / 2134 posts
@thismustbetheplace: I hadn't thought of that, but good to know! I also have had pretty light/quick AF since coming off BCP.
@Claire.Peonies, @Boopers: Good luck ladies! Good signs--FX for you!!!
clementine / 933 posts
@thismustbetheplace: @NorCalWayfarer: @Littlebit: You ladies are making me feel better about my super heavy AF at the moment. When I was on BC it was always very light & maybe only 2 days, so I've been kind of freaked out this first cycle off of it. Hopefully it means my body's doing something right? I just can't help but wonder, why can't this whole process be easy? Or at least a little more logical???
@Boopers: @Claire.Peonies: Any updated this morning??
I'm so ready for some to roll into this thread!!
