Did it stick?
M slept all the way through the night last night and the night before. I'm trying not to get too comfortable, yet, lol. He's only 10 weeks, so I know there are regressions coming up.

My LO didn't sleep through the night until 4 months. He was a preemie, so it wasn't really an option, he needed the night feeds for weight gain... BUT, once he did STTN it stuck. That's awesome your LO is STTN already.

No. She had a couple of early STTN then kept a usual 1-2 wake ups routine until 9 months, when she started STTN on her own. That time it stuck (and is AMAZING). But your baby might be different!

My baby still doesn't STTN at 11 months, so I have no clue. I'm totally jealous of you though!

Dd started STTN (8 hours) at 5weeks . I tried not to get too comfortable since everyone told me not to, but it stuck! That's not to say we didn't have a MOTN wakeup once in a while but for the most part she STTN and we never had a full blown regression. Now at 9 mo she consistently sleeps 7pm-8am which is so glorious.
FX you have a good sleeper! Sleep makes everything better, lol

B has been doing 8-9 hour stretches for a while (once he hit 11 lbs, I think) but he sometimes regresses. A bad night for him is still a 6 hour stretch followed by 3-4 so I'm hoping that will last.

Exciting! We had all kinds of STTN false alarms but it never went to 3 days. Maybe once you get to that 3 day mark start getting excited?

For us it was a short lived experience. He was sleeping through the night a couple of times at 10/11 weeks and then he went back to waking up twice or three times a night for a really long time.
I sure hope M will keep it up for you though!!!

D STTN by 3 months, also, which stuck pretty well. I was totally expecting M to be more difficult, since he's more difficult in every other aspect (he's really fussy...D was so mellow!)

My son never STTN until just after his first birthday. But it did stick when he finally did it.

DD only STTN with sleep training, which we did at 6.5 months, 9.5 months, and 13 months. The last time it stuck (she's 17 mo now).

No advice, since DS still doesn't always STTN at 17 months, but just wanted to say that I hope it does stick! That's amazing!

DD slept through at 11 weeks, had a short regression when she learned to stand in her crib and the occasional cold teething wakeup, but for the most part it stuck. Congrats on a great sleeper!

Xander started STTN (7 hours) at 10 weeks too and it stuck! He's been a great sleeper ever since!

Amending my answer - if you're only talking about 7-8-9 hours at a stretch, that stuck from about 8 weeks on, except during the terrible 4 month sleep regression and any time we traveled. (Kid does not sleep on vacation.) The post sleep training STTN was 12+ hours.

Yep, give or take some teething and/or sickness related issues. We sleep trained at 6 months, though, and started to get the 12 hour stretches. Before that, we were technically getting the 5-6 hour stretches by about 6 weeks. I've never had to re-sleep train her (14 months) but she has bad nights now and then (4 wake ups last night, but I vaguely remember them.....she wakes up, cries a little, then goes back to bed. I rarely have to go in and comfort her, and when i do, I'm not up for hours)

Nope! She started around 4 months, some nights and some not. Then around 5 it all went to shit again. Then we resleep trained at 6 months and outside of teething, she has been STTN since.

Yep, aside from teething or sick nights, it stuck for us.

It stuck for LO 1, aside from some standing at 11 months ,illness and couple nights after we moved.
LO 2 had a minor regression at 10.5 months and she woke up once for a couple of weeks.

My LO slept through (12 hrs) once last week and I'm still waiting for it to repeat itself! Hehe. She's 8 months through so I think it will start to happen more often soon.

@Dandelion: LO did this too the last two nights!!! Both were post-shots and Tylenol-induced, though. I'm not holding my breath, but oh my gosh was it nice!

@gilmoregirl: that's awesome, too! Go B!
@Charm54: that IS glorious. Wow!

DS STTN at 5 weeks (9 hours) and never really regressed. He's 16m now and sleeps 12 hours a night.
