We are transitioning from a crib to twin bed. We would like to get an organic mattress but the costs are insane? Anyone have any tips on finding one for a reasonable or am I being crazy and I should just get a normal mattress?

Yes, they are soooo expensive. We use naturpedic and love it for her crib but the twins have mixed reviews. They are on Amazon. If you are looking at latex or anything the costs really go out the roof.
If you are in CA the futon shop has sales sometimes and my personal favorite is Pure Rest. They also have 20% off sales oaccasionally.
