I wasn't sure how to phrase the title of this post, but basically my question is, is how much my LO eats in his bottle at daycare indicative of how much he probably eats from the boob at home?
For example, Xander eats 6 times a day. 3 at daycare from a bottle, and 3 at home from the boob. His bottles at daycare are each 5 oz and he has one every 3 hours. He eats roughly every 3 hours at home too (once before daycare, then twice after, then sleeps through the night).
Is it safe to assume that he's getting roughly 5oz at every feeding since that's what he's eating from the bottle at daycare? I'm trying to figure out how much milk to provide him for this weekend. I'll be gone over night at a Bachelorette party and Hubs will be in charge of feedings. I'm guessing he'll take 6 5oz bottles during the day, since I won't be there to feed him. Does that make sense?
