I'm about an hour and a half from KOP bit have never been there! Lol

3/16 sounds good! I was just at KOP this weekend. Love the Land of Nod pop-up store! I wish it was permanent.
pear / 1823 posts
@rahlyrah; @pepper: It would be dangerous if permanent, but unfortunately they are closing at the end of January Right now the whole store is 20% off though. I got out of there without spending too much but that was probably because DH was with me

@mrsbookworm: Aww man! You're right though, totally dangerous! Probably for the best

What time would be best for everyone? I know it's over a month out but DH will be on vacation and it's a 2.5 hour drive for me so I need to plan accordingly!

OMG! I wish I was visiting home for this. My parents live 25 minutes from KOP. I used to work at that mall back in college, too.

Would 11 or 12 be too early? We will have a bit of a drive that night, so earlier rather than later is better for me!

@rahlyrah: I was home for Christmas. Not sure when I'll be home next. Have fun!

@Pepper: I don't think I'm going to be able to make this trip. I really want to but things just aren't working for me right now. Make sure you all have fun though!

@.twist.: That stinks you can't make it, but I hope these meetups happen more frequently.
I can do 3/16 and 11am works great for me.

@.twist.:
I'd prefer it to not be super early, because we're not really morning people and it's a drive, but anytime 11 or after would be fine with me.
Did we decide on spouses? D says he thinks it might be weird for him (he showed up at the end of a WB meetup once, lmao!), but I hope he'd be more comfortable if there were other dudes there.

Oooh, I just found this thread! Super excited! 3/16 works great for me! After 11 would work for us! Hubs definitely would have zero interest in coming, though, ha ha.

@sheskrafty: @lovehoneybee: I'm so bummed. I'm hoping maybe we can organize another one for later, like maybe June or something?!
honeydew / 7586 posts
@lovehoneybee: DH will be on his mancation. I think @Pepper: said her DH is coming though.
@.twist.: Bummer.

@.twist.: awww :(. I can be there any time of the year, FYI! It's only about thirty minutes away.
@Pepper: any time works for me.
@mrsbookworm: ahhh, how did I not know there was a temp Land of Nod store there? Probably for the best...

Any time works for me. I'll be bringing both kids and DH. I am not brave enough to travel an hour and take care of a toddler and infant by myself.

I'm hoping this weekend is the last of the snow! At least it's coming this weekend and not 2 weeks from now, right?
persimmon / 1165 posts
It still feels like January I can't believe it's going to be March tomorrow! I'm hoping to work from home on Monday because of the snow- I have only worked 3 whole weeks in the office since December. Crossing fingers this is the last of this winter. Spring, please come soon!!!!!!!

For anyone who lives near KOP - The Container Store is having their grand opening this weekend!
honeydew / 7586 posts
Ok ladies, time to hammer down the details!
Does 11 work for everyone? Where should we meet? The food court? Rock Bottom?
Who all is coming?
persimmon / 1165 posts
Kelsey and I are in! 11 works for me.
Food court might be the easiest unless there is a small number of attendees, then maybe we could do Rock Bottom.
@spaniellove: I went to Costco last night and drove past the Container Store and it looks awesome!!

Oh man, I wish I could go, but that's too much of a hike for me. Have fun everybody!!
persimmon / 1304 posts
I am good for Rock Bottom at 11 am--but if we choose the food court, I suggest the one in the Court side of the mall (that one is near a children's play area, too...) The Plaza food court can be a zoo on a Saturday!
I am really excited!

11 is good for us too! We are in the process of transitioning to one nap (I think!) so this should work great. Looking forward to it!
ETA: I'm thinking LO and I will come on our own. Any updates on others bringing SOs?
honeydew / 7586 posts
@Periwinkle: My DH will be out of town so we are making the 2.5 hour trek solo!
