I've been having subscription issues on threads, too. I get the first notification, but then no more after that. Is that how it's supposed to work?

Ooh and I just got a subscription notification from fussygal's post too... Looks like it might be working now...
@fussygal: I think you are supposed to get one notification after there is a new reply. If there are more replies after that and you haven't viewed the thread again, you don't get any new notifications. However after you have viewed the thread again, you should get a notification on the next reply to the thread .
But I don't know for sure so @mrbee: will have to comment on that...

I think it's working for me. I got an alert for T-mom's message to Mr Bee and then checked it and then got another alert for Fussygal's post.

@T-Mom: Grace may have commented before the subscription fix was fully working. If you got a comment alert from me, then it should be working!
@fussygal: There was an issue with subscription alerts not working quite right on threads that span multiple pages. We just fixed that, so it should work properly now! Subject to the caveat that T-Mom mentioned, where we limit the number of subscription emails we send until you visit the thread again. That way, we lower the chances that our emails will be flagged as spam by the major email providers!
