If a holiday event falls on a non-school day for your LO, do you take them in?
DS' SPD lunch is today and he goes MWF, we're skipping it! We don't really celebrate it! But his Easter Egg Hunt is also on a Thursday next week and we'll probably take him in for that!

At his old school, I did on occasion. At his current school, it hasn't come up.

They hold events for the MWF kids separately from the TTH kids.

@oliviaoblivia: at our school all of the p/t kids go MWF with full time kids there M-F, so they only do holiday events once Not sure why they don't do it on Fridays!?

@mrsjyw: that's funny. Ours has MWF, TTh, and MTWThF kids in the same room so the full time kids get two parties. DD doesn't know she's missing out by being part time.

Lo's school will do events twice so that both the MW and TT group can do them!

Our preschool celebrated SPD yesterday for the MWF kids. But if they didn't, and we were invited to come on his off day I probably would take him just for something to do.

LOs school also does the event twice. The kids are either M/W or T/Th.

Kids can pick days so parties are all over the place. We can't take them in on days they don't go.

The T/Th events are different from the M/W/F events. So each group gets their own party no matter what days they go.

My MIL is a daycare teacher and is always like HARD SIGH on holiday weeks because they do 2 parties for the MWF and TTh crews.
