I got diagnosed with PCOS about 4 years ago. My husband and I have been trying to concieve for about 6 months. We did the first round of provera/clomid. The first cycle failed, so my gyno increased the dosage if clomid for my second cycle. I went in about a week ago for an ultrasound and found 30+ cysts on both of my ovaries and that I am still unresponsive to the clomid. At this point, I want to give up. I was just wondering what the next step would be and what I could do to naturally increase my chances of concieving?
We found a wonderful RE just about 115 miles south of us. So my next step is to call and make an appointment with her. What are the side affects of the femera? And since I'm on metformin 500mg 3x a day, will metformin help or make things worse?
I'm so glad you found an RE you like. Best of luck!
