Help, ladies (and men)! My son ate whatever we gave him -- purees, veggies, fruit, finger foods, whatever. He didn't reject foods until well into toddlerhood.

Now I am out of my league with my little girl. She is 9.5 months old. She HATES purees, cereals, yogurt and spoons. HATE. Has never eaten anything liquidy/smushy. She only likes finger foods. And even that she is very picky about. She likes puffs, cheese bits, peaches, mango in her silicone feeder, grapes, peas and carrots, teething biscuits, toast and that's kind of it. Even those things, she only eats a TINY bit except for puffs of course. (WTH is in those things, they're like baby crack?)

I know I just have to keep offering foods but it just feels like SUCH a waste. Like, I already know she's going to hate it. Every day I leave a puree with the nanny and every day she refuses to eat it, even if it's something she likes like peaches. (I am hesitant to have her on finger food when I'm not there. Paranoia, I know.)

Did you have a picky baby? Did he or she grow out of it or did you do something to change it?
