How do you deal with pinching and clawing? This has been happening to me for a couple months now and I've about had it!

I try to brush his hand away. Homeboy ALWAYS grabs my bottom lip with his little hand and pulls HARD. At least it's a reminder for me to cut his fingernails...

DS likes to punch my other breast cuz I still do skin to skin. It hurts like a bunch of words I used to say in college. Lol. I just dunno how much more of this I can handle. I cut his nails three times a week. /:@HabesBabe:

DD went through a phase. I would push her hands away or stop nursing. It's the hair pulling that drives me crazy! I have to have my hair up when nursing!

I give her her lovey and she plays around with that. I also hold her hand and kiss it or play with it to keep it away. Have you tried a teething/nursing necklace?

I have one scratcher and one pincher (twins). My chest looks like I've been fighting with cats! I've been trying to introduce loveys, so I redirect and put their hands on the lovey. We are working on gentle hands with each other and our dog, so I also tell them we have to use our gentle hands while eating. If it goes on after that, I put them down and the nursing session is over.

If he won't move on when I try to redirect him or say no, I give him something to keep his hands busy!

I've developed thicker skin! It's a little rediculous.
