I guess I'm really pregnant. Half expected it, half stunned, and definitely terrified of another loss. But today I'm pregnant.

@winniebee: CONGRATULATIONS!!! And call your doctor ASAP in case there is anything you can do to help this one be sticky!! Good luck!!!

@Adira: it's my choice if I want to take progesterone. I'm not sure what to do since this is my first time pregnant while not nursing (and personally thinking that was the cause of losses)

@winniebee: My advice is to take it, at least in the early weeks. It won't hurt anything - at least as far as I understand it - and could potentially really help.
Congratulations!!!

@winniebee: Although I don't have any experience with progesterone, I second what @keepcalmcarrie: says. I'd give it a try just in case it helps!

Yay!!!
No advice on the progesterone! It can't hurt or can it if it's not needed?

@winniebee: I'd take it if it were me. My progesterone was 11, and needed to be a 10 to sustain pregnancy. My RE prescribed progesterone for three days as added insurance. It can't hurt! And Congrats! Stick baby stick!

@winniebee: take it, can't hurt even if it doesn't help, and it might help

@winniebee: it doesn't hurt to take it and some are fairly cheap or even covered by insurance. I know that Prometrium was mainly covered by insurance (at least mine) and Endometrum wasn't too bad either. Good luck!

@winniebee: praying for you! This has been such a hard time for you.

@NorthStar: we have an HSA so it wouldn't be bad since we've saved for if even if we have to pay. I have heard it makes you feel like shite, but oh well!

@winniebee: honestly, I was totally fine on progesterone, except for the intense and realistic dreams. It affects everyone differently. They will be suppositories (in your lady region), so be prepared for that and wearing pads, but it's really not that bad (and totally worth it if it works!)

@winniebee: Congratulations!!!!!! Many prayers! I took Crinone and it wasn't that bad!
I think he nursing was your issue, and so glad to see that link line!

I talked to my nurse and she wants me to go in Monday for labs after I've missed my period (due Sunday). She'll do HCG and progesterone.

Congrats!!!! I'll be thinking of you and sending you all the good vibes in the world for a sticky pregnancy!!!

@winniebee: congrats. I did progesterone in both pregnancies with little impact to my life. I took it orally and found it to be mostly no big deal. But do take colace at the same time. I wasn't faithful about it with K and that was unpleasant!
