@littlek: that's wonderful news!!!! @Snowdrop: yay for appts!!!!
So I tested yesterday morning at 9dpo on a Wondfo, looked at it after 5 minutes saw nothing and went to work. 6 hours later I came home from work early thanks to storm Pax and I had a very clear double pink line. Of course since it's after the time limit I don't think it counts but I've never had anything but stark white on a wondfo. I held it for 5 hrs took a FRER and BFN.
I tested this morning with a FRER and there is the faintest line you could ever imagine but I can't tell if it has color. DH confirmed there is something there but I'm afraid it's an evap even though it showed up within the time limit . Needless to say I'm driving myself insane.
Oh and Happy Valentine's Day ladies!!!!!

So, question for the rollovers.. do you want to do another POAS thread for March? Or do you want to start a general thread called "TTC 6 months plus"? I think there is an old thread but I was thinking about starting a new one, since that thread does not have a lot of activity.

@littlek: I didn't bother with a pic bec it is seriously that faint. I'll POAS again this afternoon, I'm avoiding liquids like crazy. Thank you!!!

@cmbknyc: Whaaat?!? I don't believe this mornings was an evap... What were you testing with? FX!!!
kiwi / 630 posts
@LindsayInNY: I tested with FMU with a FRER. The line came up within 3 min and There is definitely a line but it looks more like a shadow bec it's so faint I can't detect color. But it is def there bec even my normally cautious DH sees it.
Thank you!!!!! I can't wait for you to POAS tomorrow morning !!! No middle of the night peeing for you!!!!

@cmbknyc: fx for you!!! my experience is that even a technical evap (that shows up after the timeframe) on a FRER means something and your next test (by tomorrow at least) should look darker. so exciting!

@littlek: That is great news about your appointment. I hope you don't need any intervention at all.
And I have really liked this 6 months plus POAS thread. I wouldn't mind the same for march.
I also think there is a new general 6 month plus thread that is useful for separate reasons than the POAS thread.

@cmbknyc: I am soooo hoping this is your month! How many cycles have you been TTC?

@MrsMcD: thank you! I'm afraid to be too hopeful but I can't help it! 8 months with a miscarriage thrown in. I hope this month is your month, truly!!!

@cmbknyc: Oh gosh... I can understand your feelings. But hope is a good thing. Keep feeling positive! And most importantly... keep us updated.

@cmbknyc: wow that sounds so promising, you could be our fIrst BFP! Let's see some pics
I do like having a separate 6 month thread and think it would be nice to have a march one.

Ok, sounds like a march tread is in order.
Happy valentines day!!!!

@littlek: That's great news! Hopefully it's easy peasy from here on out How is hubby feeling about the SA? I am worried that mine is going to be totally weirded out by it!
@cmbknyc: How exciting!!! I sure hope it's a real BFP!
As for me, just made an RE appointment, so that's exciting...sort of. They booked me for two months from now. I'm kind of shocked that I have to wait so long and disappointed that I won't get any answers sooner. I know two months isn't long in the scheme of things, but I'm so anxious to get things moving. It's just a bit of a bummer.

@cmbknyc: FX for tomorrow! I've only had stark white on the FRER so that's super exciting you had a shadow of anything!!'
@littlek: I like a March 6+ months POAS thread...the other ones seems more general and would be hard to follow the POAS news easily.
@Mrs. Chickadee: i feel you...2 months seems so far off when you're trying to get answers. Sometimes when I'm trying to get in ASAP I'm super friendly with the staff and super apologetic and call to see if there is any last minute cancellation...and I ask if I can get on a waiting list and make sure it's not to bothersome that I call and check every once in awhile. Some places put me on a list knowing it have a super flexible schedule or don't mind me calling and checking every week. Just a thought

@Mrs. Chickadee: not at all. He is being great about the whole process!

@littlek: Glad things went well at the RE's consultation. A year ago I finally sucked it up and made an RE appointment and now I am 27 weeks pregnant. I hope your lucky month is right around the corner!

Do you guys think we should create a new 6 months plus TTC thread? Or revive the old one?
cherry / 119 posts
@sandy: Thanks for understanding and for the suggestion. That's a good idea and I'll try it! Otherwise I am going to get some good practice at trying to be patient
@littlek: That's awesome! I am sure mine will do it and will be supportive, but I know he won't be psyched about it. And I get it - it's an awkward thing. I think he'll be more comfortable if we can collect the sample at home (I know some places allow that) instead of in the office. Glad you're experience is going well though
@littlek: I agree with everyone else - I like this thread!

@littlek: this one seems to active, but it could be time to start a new thread: http://boards.hellobee.com/topic/ttc-6-months-plus/page/57
I'm glad there will be a March 6 + Month POAS thread!
Spotting for me this morning, so I'm pretty sure AF will arrive in a few days. It's okay--this means I can enjoy drinks on our cruise! We take off tomorrow, so I hope I can get one more check in before we leave and see some from this group!
cantaloupe / 6687 posts
@Happygal: sorry about AF but enjoy your cruise!!! Have a blast and indulge in all your favorite drinks!
bananas / 9229 posts
@littlek: I say create a new one. The other one is super long and I think a lot of people have since gotten pregnant or something else (moved to the IF boards?).
@Happygal: Have an awesome time!! Where's the cruise stopping?

@Happygal: Enjoy your cruise! I hadn't thought about that! Drinks on the cruise!
grapefruit / 4703 posts
@Happygal: have fun on your cruise! I think I saw one of your stops is Cozumel? If you have a whole day there, rent a car (or hire a cab) and drive to the other side of the island. They don't have electricity out there and it's sooo beautiful! There are a few little restaurants that run on generators, right on the beach.

Thanks everyone! We're going to St. Maarten, St. Kitts, and San Juan, PR. My friend said she would get a glass of champagne and watch the sunset every night on her cruise, and I plan to do the same.
@cmbknyc: just saw about your squinter. Good luck tomorrow!
@LindsayInNY: your chart looks so good. I have a hard time believing there's not a BFP waiting for you!
bananas / 9229 posts
@Happygal: I really hope so... I don't know whether to be optimistic, realistic or what. I was bored-tired yesterday because I was in glasses and working from home. I sat on the couch around 7pm to read a magazine and just fell asleep. But I don't know if I'm creating symptoms or what...

@Mrs. Chickadee: i know I would feel two months was a lifetime too. I say ask for cancelation etc like others have said.
@Happygal: have a great time!

@Mrs. Chickadee: DH is allowed to "collect" at home. He just has to get it to the office within 2 hours of "collecting"
cherry / 119 posts
@littlek: Oh good! I think that's such a better option!
@Snowdrop: I think that's a good idea! I'll definitely check it out
@Happygal: Have a great trip! It sounds wonderful and perfect for some tropical cocktails!

@Snowdrop: I didn't think it was possible for me to like you any more, but your poas comment just set me over the edge- I'm now your #1 fan, lol.
@Mrs. Chickadee: 2 months is a lifetime when you are ttc! So glad you got an appt, hopefully they can fit you in soon.
@cmbknyc: oh my gosh, how exciting! Fill us in in the morning!
@LindsayInNY: I *cannot wait* to hear your test results!
