so for bees that got BFPs, did you take multiple in a row? I cant decide if I got an evap or a faint positive, and I'm dying to run to the store to take more! However logically I'm thinking that they'll all be negative anyway since it won't be concentrated.

Try to wait till morning to test (says the girl who regularly tests multiple times in one morning, sometimes even once AF has started to show). But really, it should be more accurate in the morning!
Also, saw your post over on WB just now and 9 dpo is really early so you have loads of time (not that that's what you want to hear!) I do think I see a vertical line with color to it but I've never heard of the ones where you don't have to have a plus sign, so I'm not really sure. Keeping my fingers crossed for you!!

@twodoghouse: thank you! it's the target version of FRER, I think that's why it doesn't need a plus sign. why it's blue dye, though, I have no idea!

@sorrycharlie: Ah, gotcha! I've seen a lot of negative stuff about blue dye on the internet (BabyCenter, etc.), but it seems like regular people who don't over-research everything on the internet use blue dye all the time and don't have issues. I hope it's accurate for you and the blue gets darker when you text next!

lol@twodoghouse. i tested multiple times. i did test with the cheap wondo ones, so i tested like 3 times on that one. then to confirm, bought an expensive digital 2-pack one. and i didn't just stop at 1 (even though it said i was pregnant). i used up both, to make sure. haha.
i can't remember which dye is the one that gives lots of false positives - might be the blue one. so if you're willing to shell out some dough, i'd go out and buy the one with the pink dye. get the 2-pack one. test tomorrow morning, if positive - YAY! if negative, i'd test it again in a few days.

I tested with a regular type test, Walgreens brand I think. Saw faint second line, so rushed down to the store and got a digital one, which quickly confirmed pregnancy. Didn't test after that!
ETA: I was 1-2 days late for my period, and I'm very regular so I suspected something was up.

@sorrycharlie: Last time I was pregnant I used the same Target brand and got a line just like that. (Saw your post on another thread with the picture) I could barely see it. I was in fact pregnant (ended in MC). I've used that test quite a bit and when it's negative, there is no line visible at all. I would've probably ran out to get another test (a different brand). I've heard good things about the Walmart Equate brand with the plus/minus sign. I hope it is in fact a positive test!

I had a very faint line. I tested at 4 am because I'm a crazy person who was awake and couldn't wait. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me because it was so early in the morning, so I woke my hubby up and he couldn't tell either. In the morning I went and bought a more expensive but worth it digital test so it would either say "pregnant" or "not pregnant." No confusion.

I tested with a cheap one, got a faint positive in the morning, went out and bought digital tests, and took those (3!) to confirm it (unfortunately ended in m/c).

I think it was a false positive. I've been up all night sick and just used another blue due (target brand) and got a bfp but the Internet cheapie was bfn

I took a digital one at 10 pm and it was positive. DH ran out to get another one which I took at 11 pm and it was still positive. So I took 2 in total to make sure. Good luck!

@sorrycharlie: false negatives are a lot more common than false positives. Since you are still pretty early the internet cheapie may just only detect a higher level of hcg than the target brand. I would go out today and get a digital test and try again with tomorrows first pee. Good luck!

Personally, I took one test and that's it. It was a clear positive (like, before I'd even finished washing my hands), but I never felt the need to take any others after that one.
I don't really understand when women get a clear positive and then keep testing... it seems like a waste of money. But I can see how you'd want to test again if you had a faint line.

I took two the first night that were both CLEARLY positive. But because it was just so unbelievable I took the third one that came in the package the next morning. Still positive.

The internet cheapie was negative for me the first day I tested but the digital was positive . Good luck.

Thank you everyone! I'm so sad today because I was going to run around and grab a test and (hopefully) surprise DH because it's our 6 month wedding anniversary..but I've been up all night and morning sick as a dog perk of working in a school system? Haha..I'm hoping I can go out later!!
@MamaMoose: My cousin said the same, I texted her this morning to ask about blue dye..she just replies congrats. Lol. I found a website with tons of false positive blue dye tests so in psyching myself out!

I took a blue dye test when I was ttc DS. If the line shows up right away but is really faint then it should be a positive. If it shows up later, its usually an evap line.

The first thing I did when I settled into my morning living-room-computer-tv-routine was check on sorrycharlie! LOL!! Did you get your digital test?? I am no longer relying on cheapie tests. I have a digital OPK, and I got cheapie dollar ones for "fun" to test them. Last wednesday I got a smiley face on my digital opk, and with the same pee cup (ew sorry) tested on the cheapie test and it didn't detect a surge.

@sorrycharlie: It seems unlikely that two tests would give a false positive. Test again with a digital or pink dye! And keep us posted! Suspense is killing me. hahaha
