Wow! There was only one type when I purchased it. This is the one we used. we used it internally with the applicators.

it's the same thing. one come with the applicators & one doesn't. we have the one without the applicators. the picture showed that there was more in that tube for less $$, but they sent us a smaller tube. was kind of annoyed because that's stuff's a lil pricey.

Yes, @leelee's is the same ones we used too. Definitely go for the internal with the applicators. You want to get the pre-seed up near your cervix so it can help the little spermies get to the goal line successfully!

I bought it at the drug store and there was only 1 kind. It came with applicators and could be used but internal and external. We usually used it both ways and got KU on our first cycle.

We used the same one as @leelee. You can use it externally too, but definitely get the applicators.

I just bought whatever was there and actually found the applicator to be helpful! Gets it up to the important bit OH by the way don't fill the applicator - I did that the first time (while standing up) and created quite a mess on my bathroom floor.

okay...i will get the applicator one...
how often did you use it? everytime you BD or when you had EWCM?

@MrsCastro: We just used it everytime. I never have gotten alot of EWCM so the preseed helped alot.

i used the one with applicators as well. DH loved it, so even though we got our BFP quickly, he likes using that instead of other lube.

@MrsCastro: We used it every time before we had sex. I never saw a lot of EWCM, so I was worried I wasn't producing enough. I don't know if this stuff did the trick or not, but we got pregnant our first cycle using it (cycle 6 total).

We also got pregnant the first time we used it consistently (twice out of the 4 BD during fertile time). I have absolutely no EWCM to speak of.

I've only ever used Preseed with the applicators and squeezed a little for externally if needed. I also second the use of Preseed. I never could get EWCM and Preseed was definitely a nicer lube than anything else we'd ever used anyways. It's so pricey or I'd just buy it for regular use too!
P.S. I bought mine at CVS and Target before.

@MrsCastro: We used it every time the week around when I knew was go time.

I got the kind with the applicators and also used a little externally if needed. We used it every time we BD'ed, around what I believed to be my fertile time. HTH!

good to know...thank you ladies for your input...i ended up purchasing the applicator one...
i just wasn't sure how often to use...
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsCastro: It will come with instructions. I think it says to use it 15-30 minutes before you actually have sex, but I always just ended up doing it immediately before, so I don't think it really matters. I do think using the applicators is probably key though to be able to get the lube near your cervix so it can act like real EWCM. I also would use a little externally, but the key is the internal part I think.
Also, the instructions probably say something like using 2-3 grams (or whatever those lines on the applicators signify) and I never used that much. I used like 1-1.5 usually and that seemed like plenty.

@Mrscastro: We used the Preseed right before BD, both with the applicators and externally (hubs wasn't a huge fan but used it anyway). Don't know if it helped us yet, since we still haven't finished our cycle, but it gave us a bit more confidence. I too had very little EWCM. We bought one at Amazon, but when my ovulation came earlier than expected we picked it up at Walgreens. Huge plus is that the box had coupons in it for Clear Blue o-kits and pregnancy tests!

We used it without applicator, just like regular lube, right before. No idea if that was one of the magic things that happened that cycle, but it certainly seems not to have hurt!
