I *finally* got our U-PreK registration packet in the mail today. I found out that they do a 30 minute assessment during our registration appointment. I was surprised to read this. I was expecting the registration to be just the parents. I definitely wasn't expecting a assessment till she enters kindergarten.

If your LO went to a public PreK, did they do some kind of assessment ?
What should I expect? I definitely will NOT be prepping DD in any way shape or form. I just don't think it's necessary. But I would like some idea of what to expect so we can be prepared and I can explain to her what will happen.
