I've been pretty spotty and not even really sure whether we're ideally supposed to be continuing with it... Kellymom says not necessary if you eat a good diet and enough calories. Just ran out of my vitamins and curious what everyone else has done.

I'm still taking mine, but partly because I'm not always super impressed by my own diet. Unless cake is a food group.

I'm probably an anomaly but I sadly stopped taking them halfway through both pregnancies because I couldn't stomach them and never started again.

I should and I mean to, but I forget most of the time. Like @MrsSCB: my diet isn't exactly stellar. Leftover chicken nuggets and cookies make a well rounded meal, right?
My pediatrician/ lactation counselor said I should keep up with them since it's hard to get enough iron, specifically (vs just a regular Womens vitamin).

Yeah I just kept taking them until I ran out. I wanted my hair to grow back! I ended up switching to take biotin cause my hair loss was so bad!

I am still taking my prenatals (and have added a calcium supplement and a probiotic as well) in light of the fact that I have had to eliminate most of the top 8 food allergens from my diet. Also, I tend to prefer potato chips to kale.
I probably remember to take them ~5 days a week.

I was on the mini pill while nursing, so I was just in the habit of taking a pill, so I took my prenatal at the same time.

@pwnstar: All the people who say, "Instead of potato chips, try kale chips!" HAHA, you're cute...

I'm still nursing at 21 months and probably will until I get pregnant again so I really should be taking them! I forget most days because every once in a while they will make me feel super sick if I take them before eating breakfast so I will bring one with me to take once I've eaten but then forget to actually take it.

I would say when I remembered but I barely ever remembered. That's true in a fair amount of my pregnancy as well

Daily since the summer before I got pregnant with my fall baby so two years now. I used to take a multi anyway so I rarely forget.

I took them the whole time, but switched to chewables. They had lower doses of everything, but I can only deal with swallowing horse pills for so long.

I was super intermittent when I was pregnant because I had nausea all 9 months and often couldn't stomach a pill. I am much better now as I just take it when I take my BC pill. Our pediatrician was adamant that I needed to continue taking it. Note that I'm off dairy, I try to be really consistent with my prenatal vitamin and a calcium supplement.

I take prenatals as my vitamin anyway, so I take them every day regardless of nursing, pregnancy, etc. I guess once we have decided I'm done having kids I should probably switch to a regular multivitamin?

Every single day until I felt comfortable DD was getting a great enough percentage of her diet from solids that it was okay for me to stop. I forget exactly when but she was over 12 months for sure before I felt okay stopping.

I never really took them when I was pregnant so I definitely don't remember to take them after . Sometimes I'll take a gummy multi vitamin if I think too.

Still taking mine but it's early on and my Doctor is concerned about my hemoglobin levels.

I take mine whenever I remember- maybe 3-4 times a week? I am supposed to keep taking extra iron pills too and have been doing that sporadically as well.
@Mama Bird: I forgot about the chewable ones- I took those with my first baby and not this one for some reason. I remember the Target ones being super tasty and I never forgot when I had those.

I took mine religiously, but I was also motivated to also take an iron pill to keep up my energy.

I take it most every day, but I've been on the Rainbow Light 35+ that has probiotics & other "good stuff", so feel they are worth keeping up on. I also am NTNP, so probably will continue through pregnancy or until we decide we are definitely not TTC.
