Hellobee Boards

Backpack, lunch box, water bottle, bento boxes. She'll also be taking gymnastics and ballet at school so I had to get her leotards, tights, ballet shoes, etc. Oh, and a nap mat.

We got a backpack, lunch bag, Yumbox, a Foogo water bottle, new sneakers, new rain boots, he has a too big raincoat from last year, and we have to buy a nap mat.

Two things that worked really well last winter that I think I will do again was a lightweight fleece jacket and a fleece vest - it was a lot better for layering and playing outside than a big puffy coat. Maybe those would be good.

I bought a few SugarBooger bentos, and let each girl (2 and 4) choose a new lunch bag, even though DD2 generally won't eat lunch at preschool (we still use them to meet friends for lunch). I may still get them each a water bottle to be for school only. I bought coats/vests at the end of last season, and I'm pretty sure we've got both rain and snow boots to fit everyone.

@lawbee11: Interesting on the gymnastics/dance gear. My DD will be taking ballet & gymnastics as part of her school day as well, but so far I haven't heard anything about the kids changing for those classes. I kind of hope they do; DD is used to taking ballet/gymnastics outside of school and is pretty into all the outfits she gets to wear!

@lawbee11: Haha no WAY would DH be putting on leotards and tights. Makes sense with morning classes, we did something similar with bathing suits at "camp" this summer.

Dd is starting pre-k and she has a school supply list. Backpack, crayons, markers, tissues, glue sticks. I think that's it!

My LO (4.5) will be doing full day pre-K this year so that means lunch at school and rest time. Before she always came home for lunch.

We pay a school supply fee so we don't have to provide any school supplies. They also provide milk at lunch for a small fee. And she gets water at snack time but I'll send her with a mini camelbak for her cubby. We got her a Yumbox for packing lunch as well as one of their lunch bags. She'll just reuse her Skip Hop backpack from last year. They also ask us to bring a yoga mat for rest time with a small blanket and if we want a pillow. Finally we have to bring a spare outfit (shirt, pants, underwear, and socks) labeled in a bag for her to keep at school.
