Today is DD's daycare lady's birthday.
Would/do you guys get birthday presents for your LO's daycare providers? If so, what?

Hmhh... interesting question. I don't know when their birthdays are. If it came up somehow I would probably get something small like at $20 Starbucks giftcard to acknowledge their day.

I have no idea when LO's daycare provider's b-day is, but anytime we want to give her something it's always a gift card to Target. I figure that's most useful to her.

I've never given birthday gifts for day care providers, especially since I don't even know their birthdays. But the most appreciated gifts seem to be gift cards, when we do give gifts (usually for teacher appreciation day, Christmas, and graduating to next class).

Since you are friends with the daycare provider, how about a gift card for a massage/mani/pedicure, that's always nice.
A lot of teachers in daycare don't get to sit often and are on their feet most of the time (unless they are in the infant room) usually put a lot of pressure on their back so something to consider.
