I'm in the process of contacting day care and home care providers and I want to know what did you ask, or did you wish you would have asked them during interviews?

Ask about the teacher student ratio,
their sick policy;
how payment works for days off,
how they heat up the food
Security measures, ie who can pick up your child other than yourself
Vaccine policy as in can other kids who arent vaccinated enroll
How often they change diapers -
Ask about the discipline policy - how you are notified and what happens if your kid is the bad guy.
