Now I'm curious after reading the episiotomy thread and highwires blog link was really interesting.

i had a natural birth with an episiotomy after LO was stuck under my pubic bone, I had been pushing for over an hour with a precipitous birth, my oxygen was dropping and the baby was in distress--had an internal fetal monitor placed, he was born sunny side up with the cord around his neck and ended up having to be vacuumed out.

has anyone else had postpartum problems with their episiotomy? the scar is killing me...DTD is NOT the same and I almost feel like it never will be. I am still bleeding with a BM bright red blood and I think is a result of the episiotomy...I feel fine but those two things kind of have been making me think after reading the thread if I should call my doctor.
