I feel like this post is misleading. There are many wonderful communities such as human milk 4 human babies, where mothers donate their milk. There is no financial gain. This article talks about instances where people are buying and selling breast milk, which is completely different.

Ugh, so scary. I've always thought that buying/selling milk is a shady thing. But donating is wonderful, just a mama helping out another mama.

@JessKas: I agree that the article is misleading - it doesn't even mention all the ways women can donate their milk and others can get donated milk. Completely different than the buying/selling situation!!

I think the article wrapped it up nicely about simply meeting the person face to face helps a ton!
