My kids are obsessed with the Bamba peanut snacks and we always have to order them from Amazon. However this morning at Trader Joe’s I found out that they carry them too now! So excited!

@wrkbrk: ahh they are so good. They are a snack from Israel. They are the consistency shape and size of a puffy Cheeto. But the flavor is of peanut butter not cheese. They are not really sweet and just a tiny bit salty. They only have four ingredients. And apparently in Israel they are the most popular snack for babies and children, and I guess adults as well. They have a very lowIncidence of peanut allergies and attribute it to early exposure with the snacks. I’ve been buying them for a couple years because my boys love peanut butter and they seemed healthier than a lot of other US snacks.

Ummm...yes! Best news I found last week! Haha. I bought 5 bags because all of my kids LOVE them. And I'm just happy the baby has something that is not a choking hazard and doesn't have added sugar!

Aldi has their own version that is really similar. Peanut based and like a long puff, but the taste is a little different from a Bamba. Still addictive though.

@Anagram: oh cool! We don’t have an Aldi close to us but occasionally I go to the one near my parents.

@Anagram: I was going to post these too. We love them. Our Aldi only carries them seasonally

@travellingbee: cool, thanks for this! are they as good as the osem brand?
@Ms. RV: haha, when exactly is bamba in season?

@LCTBQE: I’ve heard a rumor that it’s actually made by Osem. Apparently tjs was asked directly and they said they don’t name their suppliers. Bamba has been all over my newsfeed since it was released.

@LCTBQE: August and September, I believe for Oktoberfest (lots of Deutsche Kuche brand stuff at this time). Maybe if TJs Bambas are popular, they will offer them full time.

@LCTBQE: they are the same! They are still made in Israel

@Miss Ariel: @travellingbee: cool, that's great! no more overpriced amazon deliveries.
@Ms. RV: when I read the seasonal thing I just imagined bamba growing on trees and being harvested
