I would definitely get more bottles. I almost always had to switch bottles since I didn't want the milk to go to waste. I was pumping about 6-9 oz per breast every 4 hours when I pumped. Eventually I just went and purchased larger bottles that held about 9oz. It was so much easier not have to switch bottles midway (i pumped at work so i needed it to be as fast as possible)I had the medela pump in style and ended up purchasing the gerber bottle 3 packs that they sell at target for $4. Much cheaper than the medela bottles and they fit perfectly with the pump.

It sounds like you have a good supply so it might be easier to just pump into 9 oz bottles to avoid the headaches. I used to pump twice at work and got 10-14 oz total most of the time. I had a Medela PISA which came with 4 5-oz bottles so that was enough for me.

@littlebug: I hate changing bottles mid pump.. In the morning I pump about 7 oz. per side, so I finally gave in and bought the medela 8 oz. bottles. They were kind of expensive, but I heard that gerber bottles and dr. brown's bottles fit the medela pump. I'm not positive about this, but at $1.50 per bottle the gerber 10 oz. bottles may be worth a try.
