Hi all. My 6 week old is EBF and I have been pumping over the last couple weeks so that DH or our moms can give her a bottle occasionally - so that I can go somewhere without her for an hour! I know that I'm supposed to pump whenever she takes a bottle in order to keep up my supply. However, if I go out and she eats while I'm gone, she often will want to eat as soon as I'm back and I don't have time to pump to make up for that bottle feeding (she's still eating every 1-2 hours during the day).

So... do I just not worry about making it up? Try to find some time later to pump? I don't know if it's important to pump really close to the time she took the bottle, or just at some point throughout the day. It just feels like I never have time to make up that feeding before she's hungry again!
