Hellobee Boards

My son doesn't attend, but I worked at one in high school/college. They're a franchise, so different centers have different owners (sometimes several buildings are owned by the same person) and each center has it's own director. It could be the directors have different policies or comfort levels offering discounts. I'd ask the director again about the discount.

Ooh, skeezy. Apparently they are a franchise, but REALLY don't want you to know that.

@mediagirl: I have narrowed down our daycare choices to 3 and one of them is a kindercare. They seem so expensive but looks like fun. Did you end up choosing kindercare?

@mediagirl: Yay!!! That's great news! We get to tour the facility and sit in on a couple of the programs and snack time this week. So I am glad to hear of your positive feedback. Thanks so much.

@MaryM: We just switched to a daycare that is a kindercare franchise. It is wonderful and we love it so far. We talk to the teachers every day and are in contact with the front desk staff all the time and we feel 100% comfortable there. Plus one of our kids is almost 6 so he can tell us everything that's going on and he has nothing but wonderful things to say.

Also, we have 4 kindercares near us -- one is right across the street from the one we chose -- all the pricing was similar but we only toured this one because it was the only one that was NAYEC accredited.

My DS has been attending Kindercare since he was 6 months old. Prior to that, he attended another daycare from age 3mo-6mo.
My DH and I really love Kindercare. His teachers do such a great job at communicating with us.
A few things that I really love:
1. Great two way communication, 2. small class room sizes (8 max in infant room - two infant rooms based on infant's mobility levels) 3. Different monthly educational topics (it's really cute when my DS Brings home art projects monthly) 4. Parent date night one Friday a month

@Ms. Lilbunny: yes! We love our monthly date night. My LO is too young to even know we are gone I think but the older kids get to wear their pjs and watch a cute movie or do crafts. It's a nice touch!

@MaryM: Hi! Sorry for this delayed response. I've been off of HelloBee for a little bit. I was really impressed with their cleanliness, program activities, double security entry (I think most daycare facilities are set up like this though), surveillance through all the classrooms and areas, and that they open until 6pm for regular pickup. There is another Kindercare about 7 minutes further that allows for a 6:30pm pickup but I didn't tour that facility yet. I live in a high traffic area so the extra 30 minutes would help a lot. I am a SAHM and was looking for a part time option while I was transitioning back to work. They didn't have a part time opening so we didn't use them. It worked out though because I am expecting #2 so DD will just stay home with me a few more months and continue our usual activities for her.
