I want to give my LO pears and send some to her daycare. I have a few questions
1. Do you cook your pears?
2. Can I puree and freeze it in cubes like apple sauce? Even if its raw?
3. Do you peel it?
4. If you cook it, Do you wait for it to get ripe before cooking?

4. I don't remember waiting. We would buy it from the store and then cook, puree, freeze them right away. -
I'm no help but we started to feeding LO jarred pears by Earth's Best and she loved them.

I think we did bake ours and peel them before turning into "mush".

We never cooked ours, we'd just peel and puree as is, freeze in ice cube trays, and then dump into a container to send to daycare.

I made pears for LO last week. I also use the wholesome baby food site @BetsyBoop suggested.
I did not cook pears - if the pear is ripe, it doesn't need to be cooked. I just cored, sliced, and pureed.
Yes, you can freeze it in cubes, even raw.
I did not peel.
To be honest, I wasn't sure how the puree would work with out cooking or peeling the pears, but ripe pears are so tender, you don't need to cook them. I just put pear slices in my food processor and I had a very thin pear puree in a minute or two. Super easy!
