We are going to be interviewing two candidates (both cleared background checks- found on a child care website) on Thursday. DH works nights and I work from home so we only need 15 hours/week of an in-home nanny.
I'm interested in any questions you wish you asked or were glad you asked? I already did preliminary phone interviews so I cleared the questions about schedules, pay, etc.
Also- the website I am using (care.com) allows you to pay caregivers on their site.. and has all this info about taxes, etc. Babysitting growing up I was always paid in cash. I will of course ask their preference (they're both students so I assume cash) but anything I should know about the options/tax implications?
