My kids used to have all sorts of funny nicknames for food! They still say "wawa" sometimes, but mostly they call food/drink by its real name. Oh except for seltzer water: my son loves it and asks for a can of "spicy water" all the time!

My LO calls blueberries "beebees". And oranges are "ocean". And Milky is "Mucky"....which really confused my mom when she was here last, because LO kept asking for "mucky" and my mom kept looking for a lost stuffed monkey somewhere.

@mrbee: It's funny - we ran across parmesan being referred to as sprinkle cheese in a Daniel Tiger episode (maybe the one about being frustrated?), but she'd been using the term for a long time before seeing that episode.

For a long time, DD1 called milk "no". So we had no idea if she was telling us "no" or asking for milk.
Right now, she has combined her love for bacon and steak into to "Steak-on" for either bacon or steak.
