LO isn't into purees, she likes to feed herself mostly. she's a good eater, but we're trying to fatten her up in a healthy way, and i don't have great ideas for how to do so. She's not so into avocado (the texture i think?) and she won't drink pretty much anything, so it has to be solids based. i don't really want to put her on a meat and potatoes diet, because i love that she eats healthy (fish, veggies, fruit, chicken, etc.) but she's not gaining any weight eating what we eat, so we need to make some changes.
so far she has no allergies but we haven't introduced nuts at all and don't plan to for a while. we have been upping her full fat dairy intake, but that's because she won't drink bm or formula, so I am looking for nondairy ideas at the moment.
Anyone have any ideas?
pretty sure i stopped being cautious when i put a 10 month old on WCM...a girl's gotta eat somehow!
I'm guessing leftovers wouldn't work, but you could always just puree up 1/2 an avocado and make like a single-serving at a time for her.
