All of a sudden lo rips his bib off as soon as I put it on to feed him in the high chair. What do you do if your lo won't keep a bib on? I'm tired of laundry.

we usually go without the bib --- i'm going to wash what he's wearing anyway, at least that's how I see it.

@hellobeeboston: Same here. As soon as he figured out how to take it off--and it doesn't matter if it's velcro, snap, pull over the head, he can get it off--I just stopped bothering. I just change his shirt. Or if it's dinner time and I know he'll be taking a bath afterwards I just take the shirt off.

pullover bibs are much harder for LOs to get off

We do no bib as well unless its something REALLY messy like spaghetti.

I bought these bibs, when I got tired of the rip bib off and smile routine. Still stay put at 13.5 months.

@Mrs. Polish: @Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: Ditto on these bibs. He doesn't try to take them off, but I don't think he could even if he tried.

We just don't use them. He's always panicked with them on since he seems to have issues with being confined. I just let him go shirtless or change him afterwards.

Mine has been ripping them off and handing them to me!
@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: DS can get these off too! I loved them until he figured out how to rip them off!

Mine has been ripping off her bib since she was a year old. She's now 19 months. I just resign myself to the fact that I have to do laundry all the time. Stain remover and bleach are my best friends. If we are at home and it's something I know is gonna be super messy, she eats in just a diaper

I tuck it down in between her and the tray and she tends to leave it alone - except when there is food on it, she will scoop that up whether by fingers or sucking it off. Lol.

@Mrs. Cat in the Cradle: I just bought those thinking those were the answer. All is does is scream and pull as hard as he can to get them off. And so, we are still bibless. I hope he learns to tolerate them soon!

DD hates bibs. I've been feeding her naked if it's a messy dish. If its finger foods, then I just throw it in the wash.

I changed the type of bib once I figured out C only hated certain fabrics. Skip hop zoo bibs were a win for us; however, we stopped using bibs altogether by probably 14 months if not sooner.

Lilly hated bibs with a fiery passion. I tried to put ones on she couldn't get off but she would not stop screaming until I took it off. So we have some stained clothes and we feed her topless most of the time.
