Does anyone use reusable nursing pads? Which brand? Pros/cons? I've always used Lansinoh pads and love them but I go through a lot of them. With A I had to wear them the entire 14 months I nursed. I'm just wondering if getting reusable ones is the way to go or if I should just stick with the one time use ones.

I use both. I use the disposable pads during the day because they are thinner and I use the reusable pads at night because they are easier to move around in my bra depending on how I am laying. I can't recommend a reusable pad brand because mine were made for me by a family member. The reusable pads don't hold as much liquid as the disposables which for me was an issue during the first couple months but doesn't matter now.

I used washable pads with L (don't remember the brand, only ones I could find at BBB). I liked them just fine, but I had horrible supply and don't know that I actually needed them... I was able to wear them for a couple days without any smell, so only having 5 pair was more than enough for me.

I just had the Medela washable pads, and they suited me just fine. I bought four 2-packs and washed them with the baby's laundry.

I used thin cloth wipes.

The disposable ones made my boobs itch, so I use reusable ones. My favorite are Bamboobies, they're thin and soft and don't show through most of my clothes. They're expensive, though.

I used disposable ones because the reusable ones I tried (can't remember the brand) I would just leak through.

I use the laninosh disposables during the day and at night I use the Nuk reusable ones. I ran out of the disposables so today I'm using the Nuk. I definately just soaked through my bra while feeding B. That's find for the night but no good during the day. I also have the motherhood maternity reusable ones and I hate them. They make my nipples hurt and they're super bulky. I actually just tossed them out today.

I used Bamboobies for day and Lansinoh disposables for night, since they hold more. Very happy with both!

I was so against this but after a while (and many many boxes of disposable ones) I broke down and got a set. Can't remember the brand but I got them from amazon and they have lace on the outside. They were great!! It was so sad to throw them out when I was done.

Every time I have to go buy a new box of disposables, I kick myself for not buying reusable ones. Next time I will- saving all of your recommendations.

@Bao: I tried them but can't remember which. they became, like, glued to my nipples. OUCH!!!!! i threw them away quickly around week 5 (had thrush anyway) and just went with disposable.
eta: i think nuk! it was a small box. came with maybe 2-3 pairs?

I use both. The reusable ones soak completely through at night sometimes (when I need them most!) so I've been using disposable at night.

I tried reusable bamboo but completely soaked through them, so ended up going with disposable. I had major oversupply though, so they might work for someone who leaks less!

I hated all the reusable ones I had, except for Bamboobies. But even then, I still only really wore them at home or at night, because they looked bumpy or lumpy under non-padded tanks/bras.

The reusable ones didn't keep my breasts dry enough and I would get sooo itchy!

I used Lanisoh disposables until I didn't want to spend the money on them anymore (after about 4 months), and looked on etsy for a waterproof ones. (These are the ones I ended up getting: https://www.etsy.com/listing/150402203/waterproof-washable-reusable-cloth?ref=shop_home_active_2)
