DD is 4 years older than DS so I got rid of her old bottles before DS arrived. But now we have baby #3 on the way. I still have the ventaire bottles that DS stopped using about a year ago. I want to just buy new ones but I wonder if I should just boil the ones I have and keep using them.
What did you do if you have been in this situation?

Are you not supposed to reuse bottles? I have been reusing the Dr Brown bottles I had from DS1, who's now three. I just boiled them before I used them with DS2 since they had been in storage in the basement.

I replaced the nipples but sterilized and reused the bottles. My kids are 3.75 years apart. We had such a huge stash of bottles that it didn't make sense to replace them all.

Sterilized the bottles, bought new nipples. 3.5 year age gap.

You can reuse the bottles just buy new nipples. Since they can get holes/weaken/degrade.
I just ran my old bottles through the dishwasher since that sanitizes. And got new nipples. 3.5yr age gap.

I used the same bottles/nipples (bought some new nipples since some were just worn out) between my 2 kids.

We reused bottles but got new nipples.

Thanks everyone I might try that option of just replacing the nipples. The ventair bottles also have a silicone piece on the bottome i might see if i can replace those too

Same as the others, and I had gotten my bottles as hand me downs lol. My kids don't take bottles much though.

I didn't even replace the nipples.... but we had a large rotation (6-8 Level 1s, 6-8 Level 2s, 4-6 Level 3s, etc) and I EBF for some months here and there with both.

I tried to reuse mine but DS2 refused the ones I had! I had to try 4 different bottles before I found one he would tolerate.
